Firm notes

Futures-only prop firm. Overhauled its entire product line as "Apex 4.0" (launched 2026-03-01) -- legacy sizes ($75K/$250K/$300K), monthly billing, the MAE rule, the 5:1 risk-reward rule, the "one direction" news-trading rule, the 7-day minimum trading requirement, manual payout review, and account resets were all removed. Traders who purchased before that date keep their original (legacy) rules with no retroactive changes -- not modeled here, current 4.0 lineup only. Current lineup: 2 account types (EOD, Intraday), 4 sizes each ($25K/$50K/$100K/$150K), one-time purchase (no monthly subscription). Both types share identical profit targets, max drawdown dollar amounts, and contract limits at the same size -- they differ only in HOW the drawdown threshold recalculates (EOD: once daily at market close, on closed balance; Intraday: continuously in real time, including unrealized gains) and whether a Daily Loss Limit exists (EOD only; Intraday has none, since the real-time trailing threshold is its own risk control). No consistency rule during evaluation for either type. No minimum trading days -- may pass in as little as one day. 30-day evaluation access period (calendar days). No resets available -- a failed evaluation requires a new purchase entirely. 7 calendar days to activate the Performance Account (PA) after passing. Once on a PA, additional scaling and consistency rules are introduced that were not detailed in the sources reviewed this round -- not modeled here, flagged as a gap. Profit split: 100% to the trader (confirmed directly by the owner) -- no cut taken by Apex at all, an outlier versus every other firm in this database, which typically runs 80-90%. 6-payout lifetime cap per PA (not a recurring per-cycle cap -- a total count across the account's life). Up to 20 active Performance Accounts at once, combined across EOD, Intraday, and any legacy accounts a trader still holds. Hedging a trader's own evaluation accounts against each other to force a pass is explicitly prohibited. Pricing: a genuine Standard-vs-No-Activation-Fee choice exists per type/size, same pattern as Topstep's Combine Path (pay a lower price upfront and a flat activation fee once you pass, or pay more upfront for $0 activation fee). The No-Activation-Fee prices were given directly by the owner and are NOT monotonically increasing by size -- e.g. Intraday $25K costs more than Intraday $50K. The owner confirmed this is correct as observed on Apex's own pricing/checkout page, not a transcription error, and that the relationship normalizes to the expected pattern once a promo code is applied. Standard (with-activation-fee) prices were not pasted this round and come from a web search instead -- lower confidence, flagged per-plan. Source: help-center pages pasted directly by the site owner, 2026-09-04, plus one round of web search for Standard pricing (flagged separately).
