Most accounts here stay simulated for the account's whole life: the firm pays you out of its own revenue, and no real money ever changes hands in your trades. BluSky is different — it also runs a real, live-capital account that some traders graduate into.
How you qualify
Brokerage review is triggered at $10,000 total profit including payouts on Launch, Propel and Instant accounts, and at a size-based ceiling on Orbit ($10,000 to $15,000). The risk team reviews your record; it can approve, defer or place you in the Live Account Readiness Program.
What changes once you're live
From 1 October 2026 a new Live Brokerage account starts at $0 with a live drawdown set by your qualifying account size, and eligible sim profit goes into a Bonus Vault instead of becoming the live balance. You can instead take a one-time buyout of 50% of the drawdown. 90/10 split with no payout caps; existing brokerage accounts keep their old structure.
Worth knowing
Invitation is valid for 5 calendar days. A ramp-up period may reduce contracts and add a daily loss limit. Breaching live drawdown triggers a cooldown.
“Real capital” and “live” are BluSky's own description of this account, taken from its own site — not something we independently verify. Source

Five futures products. Launch has the lowest monthly fee but a launch fee when you pass; Propel has a higher monthly fee and none at the end; Orbit is a one-time purchase with no consistency rule in the evaluation and payouts every few days; Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded skip the evaluation entirely. Subscription evaluations go through an evaluation, a gentler Buffer Zone and then a simulated funded account with a 90/10 split, daily payouts Monday to Friday and no payout caps once live. Funded accounts are simulated until a Live Brokerage review, which starts at $10,000 total profit. Stock plans exist but are not futures and are not listed here.
