Live account

Most accounts here stay simulated for the account's whole life: the firm pays you out of its own revenue, and no real money ever changes hands in your trades. FuturesElite is different — it also runs a real, live-capital account that some traders graduate into.

How you qualify

Discretionary -- the risk team usually moves a trader up after the 5th (final) payout on their plan, a large lifetime withdrawal total, outstanding sim results, or prior live history. "Payout 5 is the top of the payout ladder, not a requirement."

What changes once you're live

Sim profit converts into a "Reserve" on transition, capped by size ($6,000-$20,000). The live account starts at $0 with a "Loss Floor" below it funded by the firm, moving only once per day at the close -- NO daily loss limit at all. A "Live Cushion" (half the starting loss floor) holds the first chunk of live profit until 15 profitable days are logged. The Reserve unlocks separately in $2,500 steps for every extra $5,000 of live profit, weekly. Only ONE account goes live immediately with multiple funded accounts; the rest queue, each needing 10 more profitable days.

Worth knowing

Hedging (even across accounts) = immediate permanent ban + all locked Reserve forfeited. Losing a live account forfeits the balance and locked Reserve, 1-month wait before a new evaluation.
