Unusual mechanic: exceeding 40% does NOT fail the challenge. Instead, the profit target automatically increases so the highest trading day represents exactly 40% of the adjusted target (formula: highest day profit / 0.40 = new target; example given: a $1,500 best day against a $3,000 target lifts the target to $3,750). Does not apply to any funded ("Earning") account -- stated twice in source. Effective for accounts created on/after 14 July 2026; an older "Previous Policy" version exists in the help center for accounts created before that date.
Max drawdown is STATIC (floor never moves from the starting level) -- confirmed directly, a real outlier versus most other firms in this database. "Daily Pause" entered in the daily_loss_limit fields since it functions the same way (losses beyond this amount in one day liquidate all open positions) even though the firm uses different terminology. Max drawdown locks on reaching the starting balance and stays fixed there -- confirmed. Separately, a "Daily Pause": exceeding the daily limit liquidates open positions and pauses trading until 16:00 CT the next day -- not a breach, a soft speed-bump (Classic breaches immediately on the same trigger, a real difference between the two programs -- see firm notes). 3 unique trading days required to pass (the firm's own phrasing is "for each phase" -- Prime is single-phase, so this applies once; Classic, not modeled here, is 1- or 2-phase and this may apply per phase there). Holding a position overnight does not count as a new trading day. Challenge duration countdown starts at the moment of purchase, not first trade -- the actual number of days in the countdown is still not confirmed from source (a separate article exists but wasn't pulled).
